If you know anything about muscle cars you know that classic MOPAR's are among the most popular. These cars have become extremely desirable and continue to grow in popularity. One of the most popular styles are the Barracuda's. This body style isn't around today but has to be one of the most recognizable names next to Chargers. This 1967 Barracuda Formula S Convertible is in great condition and is at the end of its restoration. Very little needs to be completed to finished of this awesome car. According to some research there were around 62,000 Barracudas sold in 1967. Of these only about 5,400 were the Formula S models with the commando engine. Even more interesting is that only about 4,300 were convertibles. What is even better about this car though is its price! Usually we wait till the end of our ad but anytime we can get someone into a classic for a price like this, we get excited. Its tough to get into the car hobby with limited funds but here is not just a classic, but a respectable one for only $18,500.00! Thats right, a classic 60's MOPAR muscle car for under 20K! The car is coated in Red and has a great finish. The body is laser straight with everything being nice and solid. The chrome is all in great condition and has a great shine. That classic split grill utilizes all the correct trim and is also in great shape. A lot of times you will see these classics with missing emblems but this classic has them all in place and cleanly mounted. The hood has the correct grills which are similar to the style you find on vintage Chevelles. All of the glass is in good shape with the front windshield being brand new. The car has a great stance and rides on a set of the original style wheels with aluminum style hubcaps that are in great shape. The wheels are coated in Red and wrapped with BF Goodrich radial tires. Powering up this classic muscle car is the 273 Commando engine that was rebuilt around 1,000 miles ago. This is a rare little V8 with 10.5 to 1 compression and has no problem getting it down the road. The block, manifold, heads, water pump, and timing chain cover are coated in matching Red and look great. The engine compartment is all coated in Red as well making for a nice clean look. The black valve covers are accented with fins and the correct chrome air cleaner is in place. The torqueflite 904 automatic transmission is in place and shifting smooth. The power steering system is working great and the steering box was just rebuilt. Other new components include the new tank, new fuel lines, new front end, new brake system, and new bearings. A new exhaust system is also in place providing a nice rumble. The 7 1/4 rearend is fitted with 3:23 gears and is a non posi system. The interior on this car is in just as beautiful condition as the rest. The Pearl White vinyl looks great next to all that Red and is very comfortable. All of the trim as well as the door handles, etc are in great shape and have an awesome shine. The dash is all in the original style condition with the knobs and switches all in place. The original AM radio is in place and still works like new. Plus there is a era correct FM converter. The power top raises and lowers with no problems and is in great shape. It is all power assisted so it can be done by one person with no issue. The trunk is finished out just as nicely being painted with a rubber mat protecting the floors. The original jack equipment is also in the trunk which is a cool feature to have. This car is in great condition and everything works! It runs down the road with zero issues and is very fun to drive. You won't find another rare mopar like this for a price anywhere close to this! Buy it while you have the chance at only $18,500.00!
